Each guest must read and sign our Terms and Conditions & Waiver Form before participating in any freeride or backcountry activities. This form provides valuable information about your skill set and abilities to our guides.

We require a 20% non-refundable deposit to reserve private group packages or individual spaces in our ready-to-join packages. The remaining fees are due one month prior to the start of the trip. For one-day guides, full payment is required at the time of reservation.

You will receive an invoice email with payment instructions via transfer to our japan bank account or Wise. If credit card payment is chosen, a non-refundable 3.6% service fee will be charged.

CANCELLATION BY THE TRAVELER
You can reschedule your booked guided day tour at no cost up to 24h before the starting time, and we will work with you to find an alternative date during the season. 

  • 15+ days prior to the booking date commencement: The deposit amount will be forfeited, and the rest of the fees will be refunded minus bank/credit card processing fees.
  • 7-15 days prior to booking commencement: 50% of the total booking value will be forfeited, and the rest of the fees will be refunded minus bank/credit card processing fees.
  • 1-6 days prior to booking commencement: 75% of the total booking value will be forfeited, and the rest of the fees will be refunded minus bank/credit card processing fees.
  • Cancellations within 24 hours or no-shows will result in no refunds.

EXCLUSIONS
We cannot offer refunds for missed reservations, early departures, inclement weather/extreme avalanche danger, snow conditions, or force majeure events beyond the COVID-19 pandemic. We are not responsible for additional expenses incurred in preparing for the trip (e.g., airline tickets, visa application fees, equipment purchases, etc.).

To be eligible for any refund due to sickness or injury, you must present a valid medical certificate from a local practitioner.

CANCELLATIONS BY LA COLINA
La Colina Outdoor reserves the right to cancel any guided day before it is confirmed to run or due to circumstances beyond our control. If this occurs, you will have the option to change to another guided day if available or receive a full refund. La Colina is not responsible for any incidental expenses that participants have incurred due to the booking. If an alternative guided day is chosen and it is of lower value than the original booking, we will refund the difference. If the alternative guided day is of higher value, you will need to pay the difference in price.
