Your journey is a unique opportunity to help preserve nature, protect the environment, and support the communities you visit. Being a Japanese-owned company, we make sure your trip supports and promotes local communities, contributing to a healthier and more sustainable society for locals and visitors.
For us, sustainability begins by acknowledging that we have a responsibility through our operations and activities. We care deeply about ethical, economic, and environmental issues derived from our activities and services, and try to minimize those as much as we can.
Our initiatives
Nature, culture and environment preservation
Through our activities and services, we seek to preserve, show respect to and highlight the local heritage, authentic culture, traditions, and distinctive features of this part of Japan’s yukiguni (snow country).
Off the tourist trail
We proud ourselves of facilitating trips to stunning and slightly less-known places outside the usual tourist trail, which provides the double benefit of spreading wealth and get our clients to be alone in nature and enjoy the lack of crowds.
Long-term perspective
We are based in Japan, and we have made a serious, long-term commitment to being viable and competitive so we can support our local community and partners.
Responsible rental
We select our gear from like-minded brands and B-Corps. Our skis and boards contains microalgae compounds instead of petrochemicals – WNDR Alpine, and we waxed them with 100% plant-based mountainFLOW.
Protect Our Winters (POW)
As a paying corporate member of the Japanese chapter of Protect Our Winters, we support and fund environmental initiatives aimed at mitigating climate change.
Local partnerships
We collaborate with local companies and guides who align with our values, prioritize environmental stewardship, and follow responsible wildlife and nature interaction practices
